Matthew 24:14

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations; and then the end shall come.

John 1:1-51

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was nothing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness has not comprehended it. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness to the Light. 9 The true Light, which enlightens every man, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, but the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own did not receive him. 12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become the children of God, even to those who believe in his name: 13 Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness to him, and cried out, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He who comes after me ranks above me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness we have all received, and grace upon grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No man has seen God at any time; but God the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made him known. 19 And this is the witness of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who are you? 20 And he confessed, and did not deny; but confessed, I am not the Christ. 21 And they asked him, What then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you the prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then they said to him, Who are you? that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself? 23 He said, I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as the prophet Isaiah said. 24 Now they had been sent by the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, Why do you baptize then, if you are not the Christ, or Elijah, or the prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but one stands among you, whom you do not know; 27 It is he who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie. 28 These things took place in Bethany, beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man who ranks above me: for he was before me. 31 And I did not know him: but I came baptizing with water that he might be revealed to Israel. 32 And John bore witness, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it remained upon him. 33 And I did not know him: but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, He upon whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I have seen, and have borne witness that this is the Son of God. 35 Again the next day John stood with two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and said to them, What do you seek? They said to him, Rabbi, (which translated means Teacher,) where are you staying? 39 He said to them, Come and see. They came and saw where he was staying, and remained with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. 40 One of the two who heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first found his brother Simon, and said to him, We have found the Messiah, which translated means Christ. 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus saw him, he said, You are Simon the son of John: you shall be called Cephas, which translated means, Peter. 43 The day following Jesus decided to go forth into Galilee; and he found Philip, and said to him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote about, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael said to him, How do you know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. 49 Nathanael answered and said to him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? you shall see greater things than these. 51 And he said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, You shall see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

1 Corinthians 4:5

5 Therefore, judge nothing before the time; before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will disclose the motives of the heart: and then every man shall have his praise from God.

Romans 3:23

23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

Revelation 13:1-18

1 { And I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon each head a name of blasphemy.} 2 And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. 3 And one of his heads seemed to have had a death-blow; but his deadly wound was healed: and all the world was astonished and followed after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon, because he gave authority to the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? who is able to make war against him? 5 And there was given to him a mouth speaking proud words and blasphemies; and authority was given to him to act for forty-two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, and those who live in heaven. 7 And it was given to him to make war on the saints, and to overcome them: and authority was given to him over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation. 8 And all who live upon the earth shall worship him, every one whose name is not written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who is to go into captivity shall go into captivity: he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints. 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the power of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who live in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he performs great wonders, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven to the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceives those who live on the earth by the miracles which he had the power to do in the sight of the beast; bidding those who live on the earth to make an image in honour of the beast, who was wounded by the sword, and yet lived. 15 And he had power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 And he causes everyone, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand, or on his forehead: 17 And no man might buy or sell, unless he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 This calls for wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Revelation 19:1-21

1 And after these things I heard the roar of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and power belong to our God: 2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great harlot, who corrupted the earth with her adulteries, and has avenged on her the blood of his servants. 3 And again they said, Alleluia. Her smoke rises up forever and ever. 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God who sits on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. 5 And a voice came from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great. 6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters, like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord our God omnipotent reigns. 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give glory to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8 And it was granted to her to be clothed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. 9 And he said to me, Write, Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true words of God. 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, Do not do that: I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren, who hold to the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and he who sat upon it was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written upon him, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a robe dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth comes a sharp sword, with which he may strike the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come and gather yourselves together for the great supper of God; 18 That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit upon them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great. 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat upon the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed miraculous signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. They were both cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur. 21 And the rest were slain with the sword that came out of the mouth of him who sat upon the horse: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Revelation 3:10-11

10 Because you have kept my word to patiently endure, I will keep you from the hour of trial, which shall come upon all the world, to test those who live upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold fast to that which you have, that no man may take your crown.

1 John 3:3

3 And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

Matthew 24:1-51

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? truly I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us when these things shall be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age? 4 And Jesus answered them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and earthquakes, in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many fall away, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations; and then the end shall come. 15 Therefore, when you shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand:) 16 Then let those who are in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: 18 Neither let him who is in the field turn back to take his cloak. 19 And woe to those who are with child, and to those who nurse in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in the winter or on the sabbath day: 21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days had been cut short, no flesh would be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short. 23 Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is the Christ, or there; do not believe it. 24 For false Christs shall arise, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to deceive, if it were possible, even the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you beforehand. 26 Therefore if they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; do not go forth: behold, he is in the inner rooms; do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wherever the body is, there will the vultures be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then the sign of the Son of man shall appear in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send out his angels with a great call of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. 32 Now learn this parable from the fig tree; When its branch becomes tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: 33 So likewise, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things are fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Therefore watch: for you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But know this, that if the owner of the house had known at what time the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you must also be ready: for the Son of man will come at an hour you do not expect. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord shall find so doing when he comes. 47 Truly I say to you, That he shall put him in charge of all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; 49 And shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come on a day when he does not expect him, and at a hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him apart, and assign him a place with the hypocrites: where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Revelation 17:1-18

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, came and spoke to me, saying, Come here; I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits upon many waters. 2 With her the kings of the earth have committed acts of adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her adulteries. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet coloured beast, which was full of names of blasphemy, and had seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and of the filthiness of her adulteries: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered greatly. 7 And the angel said to me, Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go to perdition: and those who live on the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, shall marvel when they behold the beast, because he was, and is not, and is to come. 9 This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. 10 And there are seven kings: five have fallen, and one is, and the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain for a short time. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, is the eighth; and yet is one of the seven, and he goes to perdition. 12 And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet; but receive authority as kings for one hour, along with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and shall give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They shall make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 15 And he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, they shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put in their hearts to accomplish his purpose, by agreeing to give their sovereignty to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18 And the woman you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.

Revelation 12:1-17

1 And there appeared a great sign in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she was with child, and in the pains of birth cried out to be delivered. 3 And there appeared another sign in heaven; behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a male child, who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she might be sustained for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 But were not strong enough; and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast down, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ have come: for the accuser of our brethren has been cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives to death. 12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you who live in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he had been cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the male child. 14 And to the woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, to her place, where she would be sustained for a time, and times, and half a time, away from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent spewed out of his mouth water like a river after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the ground opened its mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was furious with the woman, and went to make war against the rest of her descendants, those who keep the commandments of God, and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
